For
all those who wonder what life is like in Iraq, I've put together my
first video blog, showing some of the simpler tasks. Watch as I get a
haircut at a Turkish barber shop, in all places, Iraq.
That was fantastic! I've heard about the hair cuts there but seeing one was a kick! I do have a question - exactly what was he doing with the fire? I've got a guess but I'd rather just let you tell us.
Also, would love to know/see how your laundry is done there. I've beena civilian visitor to Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo and ahve seen how it is done there but have heard many different stories of how it's done in Iraq and who does it.
I was also able to go to the post office at Camp Bondsteel. I was a bit surprised at what they had to do there in order to ship packages. I'm wondering if you could share that with us?
Thanks for ALL that you have shared on this blog. I enjoy everything you post.
BE SAFE and A MILLION THANK YOUs to all of your for who you are and what you do each day.
Blockhead has it right, Tankerbabelc. It is a very... shall we say, unique experience. Thank goodness they don't use any hairspray at any point during the process. Now that would be a combination for disaster.

Tankerbabe-
I think the fire was to remove the fine hair that grows on
the ears,I could be wrong,though.
